Matt Mitchell

Matt Mitchell is Co-Founder and Co-Managing Partner of SteepRock Capital. Founded in 2010, SteepRock Capital is a Real Estate Investment firm with a focus on debt.
Prior to founding SteepRock, Mr. Mitchell served as an Executive Vice President and Principal at Colonnade Properties, LLC. Prior to joining Colonnade Properties, he served as a Vice President in the acquisitions group at the Taylor Simpson Group.
He holds a B.S. from Cornell University and currently serves on the Board of Cornell University’s Baker Program of Real Estate and the Board of Endeavor Therapeutic Horsemanship.
John Bucci

John Bucci is Co-Founder and Co-Managing Partner of SteepRock Capital. Founded in 2010, SteepRock Capital is a Real Estate Investment firm with a focus on debt.
Prior to SteepRock, Mr. Bucci served as a Director at Petra Capital Management and was a formerly in roles at both UBS and Credit Suisse where he originated loans and distributed B-Notes & Mezzanine loans. He holds a B.S. from Cornell University.
Connor Rosenbaum

Connor Rosenbaum is Vice President of the Acquisitions Group at SteepRock Capital. Prior to SteepRock, Mr. Rosenbaum worked at Deutsche Bank in their commercial mortgage origination group. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Mr. Rosenbaum worked at Marcus and Millichap. Mr. Rosenbaum received a B.S at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Josh is Vice President and Head of Asset Management. Prior to SteepRock, Josh was Vice President of Asset Management at ACREC Capital. Josh graduated from St. John’s University, Peter Tobin College of Business.
Kelly Taylor, CPA

Kelly serves as the Vice President of Accounting at SteepRock overseeing all accounting operations of the Firm and its various investment vehicles. Prior to SteepRock, Ms. Taylor was a Director at RDG + Partners and previously worked for Birds Eye Foods and Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP. Ms. Taylor received a BA from St. Bonaventure University.
Trisha Creta

Trisha Creta serves as Chief Compliance Officer and Operations Officer and Operations Officer at SteepRock Capital, managing SteepRock’s Regulatory and Compliance matters while also overseeing SteepRock’s Non-Investment Operations functions. She brings deep experience across alternative investment management, having held senior compliance and operational roles at Black Diamond Capital Management, Safanad, Inc., and Amulet Capital Partners. Trisha is completing her MBA at the University of Connecticut and holds a BS from SUNY Empire State.
Michelle Kesselring

Michelle is a Director of Accounting for all Investment operations at the Firm. Ms. Kesselring worked at RDG+ Partners as an outsourced Controller for small companies. Prior to that she served in various accounting roles at Woods Oviatt & Gillman. Ms. Kesselring received a BS from SUNY Binghamton.

Kennedy is the Investor Relations Manager at SteepRock. Prior to SteepRock Kennedy was a Project Manager at Partners + Napier. Kennedy has an MBA and a BS from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Noah Smith

Noah Smith is a Senior Analyst in the Asset Management Group focusing on the Construction Lending program. Prior to SteepRock, Mr. Smith was at KPMG. Mr. Smith received a BS and MBA with a focus on Forensic Accounting from Seton Hill University.
Charles Chodak

Charles Chodak is an Analyst with the Asset Management Group at SteepRock Capital. Prior to joining SteepRock, he was a Junior and Senior Analyst at The Orange Value Fund, LLC. Charles graduated with a BS in Accounting, Finance, and Economics from Syracuse University.

Riley is an Analyst in the Investments Group. Riley graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Business from Georgetown University.
